How To Eject Water From iPhone & Android (6-Step Procedure)
If your phone fell into a sink, swimming pool, toilet, or got wet in the rain, do not panic. Follow this simple 6-step process to safely push out moisture and restore clear, loud speaker audio.
1️⃣ Step 1: Remove Phone from Water
Take your device out of liquid immediately. Do NOT plug in a charger. Thoroughly dry the outer screen, back glass, and metal edges with a clean towel.
2️⃣ Step 2: Turn Media Volume to 100%
Slide your volume bar all the way up to 100%. Running sound at low volume does not produce enough air pressure to push heavy water droplets out.
3️⃣ Step 3: Disconnect Bluetooth Headphones
Ensure Bluetooth headphones, AirPods, or car speakers are disconnected. The cleaning sound must play directly through your phone internal speakers.
4️⃣ Step 4: Place Speaker Pointing Downward
Hold your phone vertically with the bottom speaker grille pointing down toward a dry paper towel or cloth. This allows gravity to pull expelled water away.
5️⃣ Step 5: Run Water Eject Sound (30–60s)
Open our Sound Tool or run your Siri Shortcut. Let the 165Hz pulses vibrate the speaker cone for 30 to 60 seconds.
6️⃣ Step 6: Test Speaker Sound
Play music or ringtones to check clarity. If audio is still slightly muffled, run a second cycle using the Deep Clean Sweep mode.
